Culture Center of T.E.C.O. in Los Angeles (Santa Ana) is owned and operated under the direct supervision and guidelines of the Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China in Taiwan, and is overseen locally by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles. It is located in the city of Santa Ana (central Orange County) with convenient environment. It serves the overseas communities in Orange County, San Diego County in Southern California and the State of New Mexico.



Orange County ranks as the third most populous county in the State of California with a population of 323 million (as July, 2016). The median family income for 2016 in Orange County is around $77,000. Orange County is a prosperous hub for the life science, high-tech, consumer products, finance, real estate and aerospace industries. Major business centers in Orange County include Irvine, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Costa Mesa. Orange County is home to Disneyland, the Anaheim Ducks, and MLB’s Angels.



San Diego County ranks as the second most populous county in the State of California with a population of 330 million (as July, 2016). The median family income for 2016 in San Diego County is aruond $67,000. San Diego's economy, once dominated by military and defense endeavors (now the city's second largest economic sector) is led by manufacturing, particularly in the areas of shipbuilding and repair, industrial machinery and computers, metals production, and the manufacture of toys and sporting goods.



The State of New Mexico became the 47th state of the United States of America in January 6, 1912. The state's total area is 121,412 square miles (314,460 km2). The population of the State of New Mexico is around 2 million (2016 estimate). The median family income for 2016 in New Mexico is around $45,000. The state capital in New Mexico is Santa Fe, and the largest cities include Santa Fe, Albuquerque. Oil and gas production, tourism, and federal government spending are important drivers of the state economy. New Mexico has benefited greatly from federal government spending on major military and research institutions in the state. It is home to three Air Force bases, White Sands Missile Range, and the federal research laboratories Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.



Newly immigrated overseas compatriots are mostly moved into Orange County, San Diego and Albuquerque and other cities; whereas the traditional overseas compatriots are mainly resided in San Diego, Santa Fe.



Most overseas compatriots work in the field of high-technology, medical, commercial and specialized technology industry and the hotel industry, large domestic companies are also setting up customer service and sales representative locations in Orange County.
