2016 E-Stores and Internet Marketing Training Course - Advanced hosted by Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) was organized by the National Association of Small& Medium Enterprises (NASME). The opening ceremony was held on August 29 at the auditorium of Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei. The ceremony was co- chaired by OCAC Director-General Shu-Hwa Wong and NASME Deputy Secretary- General Li-Fen Tai. 39 trainees from 17 countries around the world took part in the course.
On behalf of OCAC, Director-General Wong extended a warm welcome to the trainees for returning to Taiwan and joining the course. He noted that the course featured a lineup of veteran instructors from the business and academic communities, who would mentor the trainees on effective internet marketing schemes and e-business operation. Wong also encouraged trainees to apply what they learn to expand their e-ventures. In addition, he mentioned that both Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation and China Steel Corporation have taken advantage of the e-business marketing tools to advertise their newly-innovated merchandise, and found wide popularity among consumers. Trainees of the course also went on business tours to several e-businesses in Taiwan, in hopes of strengthening exchange and partnerships between like-minded business aspirants, discovering new opportunities, and opening uncharted territories.
