The Accounting and Statistics Office comprises of three sections: Annual Budgeting and Accounting, Auditing, and Statistics

Annual Budgeting and Accounting Section oversees yearly financial estimates and budget appropriations, in accordance with OCAC's policymaking and service demands; the section also compiles accounting reports, six-month accounting reports and year-end reports; the data would serve as reference for OCAC's policymaking and budgeting.

Auditing Section is in charge of budget implementation auditing and control, governing procurement , auditing the management of cash, checks and securities to strengthen the Council's financial efficiency. The results of budget implementation would be evaluated and presented to the business division for review. The Auditing Section also convenes the review meetings to improve the efficiency of the Council's budget implementation.

The Statistics Section analyzes and compares the data to strengthen the management and application of the statistics. In addition to making the data publicly available, it also compiles and publishes reports and related reports in hopes of diversifying the data's usage efficiency, so it can serve as dependable reference for the Council's policy directions in the future. 

By linking the services of these three sections, the Council can attain "allocate resources properly, boost government finance performance, and provide statistical support for government decision-making." The three sections are a vital backing for the OCAC to promote expat services and maximize benefits with limited resources.
