I have two children and both of them are fortunate enough to be a participant in the Overseas Youth English Teaching Volunteer Service Program in Taiwan (AID Summer Volunteer Program) in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

My son Dixon was selected as one of the volunteers for the AID Summer Program in 2014. Dixon just started his second year in college in Boston now and he highly recommends his sister Charlotte should get into this program when she reaches the requirements to do so. Charlotte who is now a senior in high school came back from the 2016 AID Summer Program. Both of my children enjoyed and treasured tremendously the once a life time fun filled experience of making new friends, visiting places, being a team player and learning to adjust a variety of unpredictable situations they have had through the scheduled classes and activities tailored by this program.

All participants were supervised to learn responsibilities to abide by the rules and the regulations of the program; and to teach mostly the underprivileged students so as to heighten their insights exceed academic achievements as well as their maturity to a higher level. Most importantly, this program helped to shape my children to improve their ability to look at this ever-changing world in a new perspective; and to be a better person in general.

I offer this program my highest endorsement. With great enthusiasm, it is my sincere hope that all parents will encourage your children to participate in the OCAC AID Summer Program.
