The closing ceremony for "2017 online training program for Mandarin teachers" was held on August 25th. 60 overseas Chinese school teachers from around the world participated and expressed their gratitude to OCAC.

The program was held from July 18th to August 28th, including 54 hours online and offline training courses, to enhance the participants’ teaching skills especially for teaching children and youth. During the six weeks’ online training, some participants overcame their physical injuries, some rearranged their business trips and most of them sacrificed their sleeping hours in order to take the courses.

Their hardworking attitude was highly regarded by Bi-Lian Chen, the director general of the Department of Education Affairs of OCAC. She encouraged the participants to share what they had learned with their students.

In addition, she mentioned OCAC will upload all the courses to "HuayuWorld.org" by the end of this year, and Chinese school teachers who didn’t join the program could also benefit from it.
